MIP Alumni met in Zurich
On February 9th a special event for the Swiss Chapter.

21 - 02 - 2018

While attending any of the broad range of courses available at MIP, it’s enough to walk the School hallways to suddenly realize the meaning of the word “internationalisation”. People from all around the world meet every day in our school, with the common aim to be exposed to a joint learning experience while sharing with the class their own personal and professional knowledge.

Once obtained the degree, you can however continue to experience this atmosphere by keeping in contact with the Alumni Community.

On February 9th, the Alumni Relation Office organized a reunion in Zurich to discuss the digital transformation of business and society. Beside the extraordinary opportunity of networking, the event offered attendees the chance to learn more and exchange perspectives and opinions on the pervasive impact of digital transformation across multiple industries and within different business areas.

The meeting took place at the ABB Headquarters and on the stage, Marco Macchi, Professor at the Politecnico di Milano School of Management, welcomed attendees and introduced the framework for the discussion.

Rossana Ricco-Rodgers (Group VP – Head of AIM Product Management at ABB), besides being the host of the event, provided incredible contribution by ensuring establishment of the event within the local Zurich Community and by inviting Martin Ahlstroem (UX Design Lead & Agile Coach for Data Science Team, ABB) and Dejan Milenovic (CEO at Createsi), who both delivered outstanding speeches to kick off the debate.

Francesco Tiberi, Senior IT Manager and MIP Alumnus, made sure that the Alumni perspective was well represented, by sharing his experience of agile implementation and by stimulating the discussion around the continuous challenge to the status quo and its benefits to existing organisations.

Finally, Fabio Nani, International MBA Alumnus, ensured Michael J. Capone (Ernst &Young Digital Transformation Expert) could provide the consulting perspective on multiple industries, along with inputs and numerous comments to the discussion.
