TO OUTSTANDING MIP MBA CANDIDATE

ITALCEMENTI is offering a scholarship to one worthy candidate who will attend 2012 edition of MIP Politecnico di Milano’s International MBA.


The company: Italcementi Group is the world’s fifth largest cement producer and has an annual production capacity of approximately 75 million tonnes of cement. Italcementi Group’s companies combine the expertise, know-how and cultures of 22 countries in 4 Continents. As a member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) Italcementi Group has signed the Cement Sustainability Initiative’s Agenda for Action, the first formal commitment that binds a number of world cement industry leaders. Italcementi has been included in “The Sustainability Yearbook 2011”, the most comprehensive publication on corporate sustainability and has adhered to the UN Global Compact. Through the activities of its research and innovation centres in Italy and in France, the most advanced in Europe, the group intends to anticipate market trends and requirements giving priority to environmental issues and the optimization of resources.
The scholarship: ITALCEMENTI offers a scholarship covering €16,700 of the tuition fee to one talented student who has passed the selections for the International MBA program at MIP Politecnico di Milano. The selected candidate will carry out the final 3 months Project Work within ITALCEMENTI and live a unique job experience in one of the leading company in its sector.
 

Requirements:
-          Degree in Engineering or Economics.
-          Interest in the industry sector and sustainability.
-          Preferred countries of provenance: countries within the EU.
In order to apply for this scholarship the candidate must first pass the selections for the MBA program.
