e-NPCM Executive Master in Nuclear Plant Construction Management

Master degree - level II - Start October 2010

Objectives of the Master degree This course was set up to meet the needs of Italian companies to take advantage of the new business opportunities surrounding the return of nuclear programmes to the international scene. The Master degree is aimed at graduates in engineering and in technical and scientific subjects who wish to gain specialised skills in nuclear plant implementation, and become the reference point within their companies of knowledge in this sector.

Programme
The e-NPCM Master degree course supplies basic skills in the nuclear sector, techniques and instruments typical of the implementation stage of a nuclear plant, covering aspects such as safety and project management, initial planning, project procurement, components manufacturing, building and decommissioning of nuclear plants, touching also on the operating procedures and practices within a nuclear power station. Its executive format (on average three days a week over 18 months) has been devised with professional people in mind. Furthermore, participants are awarded an academically recognised qualification, ensuring the plurality and multidisciplinarity of the topics covered, while respecting the requirements of the Ministry of Education.
