Course Objectives
The program prepares students for careers in purchasing, in supply chain and logistics or consultancy with a specialisation in their field of study through:
- Development of fundamental skills, tools, and techniques required for supply chain and purchasing professionals.
- Exposure to international perspectives on supply chain and purchasing management by spending at least a semester in both France and Italy and by learning from the international faculty at each school.
- Exposure to supply chain and purchasing management practices in leading industries, especially those focusing on core supply chain and purchasing issues including manufacturing, transport, and logistics.
MIP and Audencia - Experience in Supply Chain Management
MIP has been offering executive programmes in supply chain management and purchasing since 2002 in partnership with ADACI (Italian Association of Purchasing Professionals), Assologistica (Italian Association of Logistic Providers) and AILOG (Italian Association of Logistic Professionals). MIP is a leader in research on the integration of information technology in the sector. Audencia, through its specialised pole in the area, is recognised by IPSERA (International Purchasing and Supply Education and Research Association) as a centre of excellence and regional node. The school also boasts accreditation by CIPS (the Chartered Institute for Purchasing and Supply).
Thanks to this experience, plus input from the schools’ industry partners and CIPS, the new double degree will equip students for the challenge of global business in which the supply chain and purchasing are key elements.
