In 2016, MIP Politecnico di Milano is expanding its corporate structure with the arrival of two large multinationals: Microsoft Italy and Whirlpool, two companies with long-term links to the School through joint collaborations on strategic projects involving innovation and international development.
MIP Politecnico di Milano started in 1979 as a Consortium between Politecnico di Milano and several of the leading companies and organisations operating in Italy.
Today, MIP is a non-profit Consortium Company with Share Capital and a corporate structure composed of the University, Assolombarda and 17 national and international companies:
