On April 27th, five i-Flex students flew to London to participate in the CleanTech Challenge 2017 final boot camp.
Within the intense competition, our students presented “Trashtag", a comprehensive solution that will contribute to the reduction of increasing worldwide datacenters energy consumption and related carbon footprint.
Apart from the challenge, won by the Imperial College team, this event represented a valuable occasion to network with clean tech experts and venture capital businesses.
Even if Trashtag did not win, Luigi, Matteo, Emanuele, Alberto and Eduard - as real De Coubertin’s fellows - came back from London enriched by this amazing experience.
“We have been honored to represent MIP at the final international boot camp at the London Business School. It has been a great opportunity to work with international mentors and to learn from others, to face a positive stressful challenge and finally to create even more cohesion in our team and reinforce our approach to green technology.”
Nevertheless, congratulations to this ambitious team that embodies the i-Flex spirit: the importance of meeting of people from across the world, with different backgrounds, willing to combine the academic journey with a real startup business project towards a successful story.
