Candidates will gain the knowledge and understanding of basic business concepts and management functions like marketing, finance, human resource management, supply chain, innovation and project management, digital transformation & business law. These core topics will be delivered completely online using our advanced digital learning platform.
Candidates will attend face to face lectures with world class faculty and industry experts to further deepen their understanding of topics covered in the phase. This part of the program involves putting the concepts learnt in the Digital Basics phase into practice during business cases and practical assignments involving complex, cross-functional and multi-industry problems.
The Management Bootcamps are designed to offer practical learning modules which are organized by company officials and industry experts. This phase will allow candidates to put into practice what they have learnt theoretically in the previous phases and get into direct contact with experienced managers and top level executives to learn how to solve complex real world problems inside companies.
The Management Boot Camp will allow candidates to learn about emerging management topics under the mentorship of industry experts and company officials from the MBA partner companies and several other companies in the corporate network of MIP. Candidates will work on 9 different boot camps (1 week each) based on a range of emerging topics in business which they can also club together with an optional Silicon Valley Experience.
This phase is organized in two parts:
Developing Your Advanced Skills (compulsory)
The Advanced skills courses are transversal in nature giving a cross functional view of business.
Addressing Complex Business Challenges (electives)
The Complex Business Challenges courses focus on new and emerging management topics.
Students can choose a minimum of 7 courses among the following:
Students will have the opportunity to choose one of the international weeks as part of the seven elective boot camps:
The final phase of the program is the in-company project work wherein each candidate will work on a full-time project inside one of the official partner companies. This phase would allow the candidates to gain first-hand experience in a leading international company gaining insights on best practices and processes. The project work offers the opportunity to candidates to gain hands-on experience but also to showcase their skills and talent to possible future employers.
The Project Work is a full-time, three month experience working inside one of the MBA company partners or other companies in the school’s corporate partner network. This is the opportunity for students to experiment and apply the content learnt during the classroom component of the course to real-life situations. It is not the “usual internship” as it is a project that sets tasks to complete and goals to fulfil and is tailored to meet both the needs of the company and the student. In fact, companies actually make an investment in the student and hence it is in their best interest to dedicate a great deal of attention to both the project and student. The project work may actually lead to a job offer in the host company at the completion of the project.
Academic study is only one part of what we see as complete development for the MBA participant. During the MBA Program, students will also acquire soft skills and tools that will help them not only to make the most of their personal investment in the MBA, but also continue to develop relational capabilities throughout their career.
